  1. Mapedit is a WYSIWYG imagemap editor for use with
  2. World Wide Web servers. (The server can be located
  3. on any machine; it need not be on your Windows
  4. system.)

  6. MAPEDIT IS NOT FREE SOFTWARE. Educational and
  7. nonprofit institutions can use the package for free,
  8. but must send me a postcard; all others must pay
  9. $25 after 30 days. See the "About" option
  10. on the Help menu for details.

  12. Mapedit requires Windows 3.1 and a 386 or better
  13. processor. (A 286 may work, but I have not
  14. tested this.)

  16. See the online help for detailed documentation,
  17. covering all aspects of the program's use.

  19. To get started, make sure mapedit.exe and
  20. mapedit.hlp are in the same directory and
  21. launch mapedit.exe from the file manager.
  22. You will probably want to add a program
  23. item for mapedit to one of your groups.
