- Mapedit is a WYSIWYG imagemap editor for use with
- World Wide Web servers. (The server can be located
- on any machine; it need not be on your Windows
- system.)
-
- MAPEDIT IS NOT FREE SOFTWARE. Educational and
- nonprofit institutions can use the package for free,
- but must send me a postcard; all others must pay
- $25 after 30 days. See the "About" option
- on the Help menu for details.
-
- Mapedit requires Windows 3.1 and a 386 or better
- processor. (A 286 may work, but I have not
- tested this.)
-
- See the online help for detailed documentation,
- covering all aspects of the program's use.
-
- To get started, make sure mapedit.exe and
- mapedit.hlp are in the same directory and
- launch mapedit.exe from the file manager.
- You will probably want to add a program
- item for mapedit to one of your groups.
